The Aura Cardigan has a romantic vintage style, highlighted by the delicate lace and textured details on the sides, which are featured on both the front and the back.

Construction

The cardigan is worked vertically in separate pieces that are then seamed together.

Yarn and Materials

Yarn: DK weight yarn (WPI: 11)

  • Yarn in grams: XS: 500, S: 550, M: 630, L: 670, XL: 700, 2XL: 770, 3XL: 800 gr
  • Yarn in ounces: XS: 17.6, S: 19.4, M: 22.2, L: 23.6, XL: 24.6, 2XL: 27.1, 3XL: 28.2 oz

Yarn Used in Sample: Colors by Revesderecho (100% Acrylic. 200 meters in 100 grams / 218.7 yards in 3.5 oz)

  • Hook: 6mm (US: J-10) and 5mm (US: H-8)
  • Stitch markers, 4 buttons

Gauge

Gauge Swatch: 16 stitches and 15 rows in a 10x10 cm (4x4 in) before blocking. The swatch was made using Double Slip Stitch (DSlSt) worked in the back loop only with a 6mm hook.
